Winter holidays in South Tyrol at the feet of two skiing resorts in the Dolomites

An experience you don’t want to miss is the winter in San Viglio and far less the stunning view from the balcony of „Ciasa Pinei“ over San Vigilio and in front of the small ski area of Piz de Plaies. Also the ski area of Plan de Corones, one of the most modern world wide, seems just to be within your grasp.

More than 30 ultramodern ski lifts bring you without queues and very quick to the ski runs so that you can enjoy you ski holiday without loosing any time.
Our house is situated very close to the nearest ski runs, which you can reach on foot or with the car. The you can leave your car to our private ski run parking. Our family loves the winter and our wonderful ski resorts. Four of our family members are enthusiastic ski instructors 🙂

Of course there is much to do also for those who do not like skiing: cross-country ski, snowboard, sled, winter trekking, swnoshoeing, alpine trekking, ice skating, curling, ice climbing, …

Cross-country skiing

San Vigilio is not only a paradise for alpine ski – A plenty of other winter sports can be practised here. Starting from the hotel “Bad Cortina” a really beautiful and cost-free cross country ski track leads you for 24 km through the Nature Reserve between snowy mountain peaks, enchanted forests on a groomed country ski track.

For those who love ski tours the Nature Reserve Fanes-Senes-Prags offers numerous alternatives up to the snowy peak. Pleasant winter hikes and snowshoeing tours are a valid alternative for all families.

Children do not need to go far away: just outside our holiday apartments they find snowy fields where to play, build snomen and have great fun. Once tired, they can come back to the Stube andwarm up again!
